Classic Georgia was founded in 2012 by Atlanta gallery owner and artist/photographer Rob Matre and fellow Georgian, Jason Payne.

The Classic Georgia name came from a series of Matre's photographs from around the state, which perfectly reflected their shared desire to create a company that celebrated the great spirit of our state.  The first of Classic Georgia’s iconic products to hit the streets in the spring of 2012, was a white visor with the Classic Georgia script across the front. In early 2015, Classic Georgia expanded to t shirts and started selling to retailers around the south. Be on the lookout for your new favorite t shirt at a retailer near you.
